Today’s Program:

Jane introduced her son Derek Del Simone and his business partner Rob Burpee who operate a financial advisory service in the bay area.   Derek and Rob were invited today to share with us their thoughts on ways to invest your monetary assets using a sound strategy that takes advantage of the market highs and minimized the market lows.  Rob outlined the Triangular Investment Strategy they apply to their investor’s portfolios.   Essentially the strategy place 1/3 in privately held yield oriented investments, 1/3 in stocks and bonds, and 1/3 into insured investment vehicles.  By using these this method investors portfolios can be managed to avoid dramatic loses in their portfolios.  Rob and Derek took turns outlining specific things about their services and then took questions.  There were many quality questions and it was apparent that everyone was very interested in this presentation.  We were given CDs with the information about the Triangular Investment Strategy.  I think everyone would agree this was a quality presentation.

Derek Del Simone and Robert Burpee answer questions from Rotarians

Today’s Lottery Winner:   Jane had her ticket drawn and won the bottle of Irish Crème Whiskey.  Nobuko (by way of Joe) had her ticket selected and pulled a cats eye marble.  Next  meeting the pot is $75.

Thought for the Week:

Alexander Hamilton originated the put and take system in our national treasury: the taxpayers put it in, and the politicians take it out.
