President Tracy greeted us at the El Cerrito City Hall where we were provided a tour of the facility by Dwayne Dalman and Brian Fenty.

Announcements:

Þ    Mark S gave us an update on the El Cerrito Mixer at El Cerrito Royale.  He also announced that next Wednesday there will be a joint mixer with the Richmond Chamber and El Cerrito Chamber at Velocity Lock and Key in Richmond

Þ    Gary B gave and interact update.  The date of the Interact  District Conference at the ECHS was moved ahead November 1^st from 10a to 1:30p.  There was a conflict as the City is holding a home improvement workshop at the high school on October 25^th.

Today’s Program:  Tracy provided for our buffet lunch which was a nice spread of sandwiches, salad with drinks and cookies.  Everyone enjoyed the food.  Andy asked Dwayne and Brian to tell us their background so his eleven year old son could get an understanding of how they arrived in their careers.  This was a good opportunity for us to take advantage of a “dark day” at the Mira Vista Club and to visit the new city hall.  Thanks to Tracy, Brian and Dwayne for making this a nice field trip for our club.
