The WheelEditors: Gary Buffon & John Fergerson Jr. Week of June 18th President Jack welcomed us to the friendly El Cerrito Rotary Club. Pat led us in the Pledge of Allegiance, and Jack provided us with a history of the pledge. Introduction of guests and Visiting Rotarians: Sec John introduced Kyle Hunt, Kathleen’s son. Announcements: ð We are completed with our GGF concession stand responsibilities, however we have been asked to work on some dates in Aug and Sept. ð July 14th is the party for Ksusha. It is going to be our chance to say goodbye to Ksusha. ð There is a board meeting on Tuesday the 23rd at noon at Mira Visat ð Mechanics bank in Happy dollars: Kathleen is happy son Kyle accompanied her today and also for her new website. Michael Chang is $21 happy for his daughter graduating from college (one more dollar than Mike G). Kyle is glad he came to day and for graduating from grammar school. Gary B is happy that he heard from Kevin Tse who was the Interact VP in 2004-05. Kevin is currently at USC. Neal is happy to be back after six weeks and doing make up meetings from Sgt at Arms: Not on duty today President Jack gave Today’s Program: Karen introduced President Elect Tracy who just returned from ð The Pride in Being a Rotarian program ð A blood drive in conjunction with the City’s safety day ð Quarterly membership orientations ð Calendar of event on our website for everyone to check on ð Rotary Foundation contributions for a 100% goal ð Fundraiser to include concession stand at the swimming pool and a joint club Luau for our club’s 60th anniversary.
One thing is clear, we are going to have a great 2009-2010 with Today’s Lottery Winner: Ilhami had his ticket pulled and drew a black marble that cost him $5 but he gets bottle of wine.
