Come meet Rotarians from Berkeley to Richmond, drink green beer, and hear Irish tunes (songs, dance, instrumentals) from that dazzling ensemble "The San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers Go Irish". The ensemble includes at least three Berkeley Rotarians and a number of others who have joined us in our New Orleans and Chacala projects. Bowl-A-Thon is April 10th at the Albany Bowl. Reserve one of the last 2 spots on the team.

Rotary District 5160 District Assembly April 17th...The new format for assemblies is "facilitated information exchange" between Rotarians. Come learn how to grow membership and fundraising.

Rotary Work Day will be April 24th. Our Clubs and all Clubs statewide will be installing fire detectors and checking for expired batteries.

Michael Dougherty will participate in the San Diego Half-Marathon on Sunday June 6th as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. Team In Training raises funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission. Your contribution is 100% tax deductible. An official receipt will be sent via email shortly after your donation is completed. 82% of the funds you donated will go to research, patient care and directly towards curing blood cancer.
